Important Eligibility / Requirements
- Junior Assistant (Fire Service) candidates must have either 10th Pass with a 3-year approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire or 12th Pass through regular study.
- Junior Assistant (Fire Service) candidates must also possess the prescribed valid driving licence and satisfy the physical standards.
- Junior Assistant (Office) requires a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Senior Assistant (Electronics) requires a Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio Engineering along with relevant experience.
- Senior Assistant (Accounts) requires graduation, preferably B.Com, along with relevant experience.
- Candidates must satisfy the prescribed age and other eligibility conditions.

Latest Update: As of 17 August 2026, this AAI Southern Region recruitment is not open for fresh applications. The CBT for Junior Assistant (Fire Service) was conducted on 17 March 2024. AAI subsequently conducted the second-stage selection process, including document verification, physical measurement, driving test and physical endurance test. AAI also published provisional selection information after the Basic Training Course.
