Important Eligibility / Requirements
- Candidates must have an MBBS degree from a recognized university/college approved by the National Medical Commission or State Medical Council.
- Candidates with MBBS must have at least 5 years of General Practitioner experience.
- Candidates with a Post Graduate Degree must have at least 3 years of General Practitioner experience.
- Internship experience is not counted for the required experience.
- Candidates must have valid registration with the NMC or State Medical Council.

Candidates holding a PG Diploma can receive one additional increment, while candidates with MD/MS or equivalent can receive two additional increments as prescribed by SBI.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:

The written examination carries 70% weightage and the interview carries 30% weightage. The local language test is qualifying in nature for candidates who have not already studied the specified local language in Class 10th or 12th.
